Why is the system being upgraded?

We have been on our current system since 1998. In an ever changing world of technology, SCU maintains a focus on providing our members great service with the solutions we provide. With the new upgraded system, you can look forward to a more robust and user-friendly online banking experience, simplifying your financial management. Will I have the same account/member number?

Your account/member number will remain the same after the system upgrade. The share account identifier and Certificate identifier will change. This table lists the changes:

Will I have the same checking account number (MICR) for direct deposit and automatic transactions (Ach)?

Yes, your checking account number for direct deposit and automatic transactions will remain the same after the system upgrade.

Will I have the same loan number?

Your loan number will remain the same after the system upgrade. The loan account identifier will change. This table lists the changes:

Will my online banking username/password be the same?

The first time you access the new online banking you will need to re-register for your online access. At that time you will establish a new username/password (you should be able to use the same username, if your password meets the requirements you should be able to use this also). The information you will need to re-register for online access is your member number, social security number, and phone number.

Will my debit card continue to work?

Yes, during the system upgrade weekend your debit card will work up to your authorized limits for purchases and ATM withdrawals. After the system upgrade your debit card will continue to work like normal.

Will my account checks stay the same?

Yes, the checks you have for your checking and money market account will stay the same and continue to work as they always have worked.

Will my Credit Cards continue to work?

Yes, your credit cards will continue to work as they always have worked.
