What is an E-Statement?
An E-Statement
is a service that allows you to view your statements securely online.
You will receive your statements faster and avoid the risk that your
statement will be lost in the mail or stolen from your mailbox.
Plus, you won't have the hassle of storing paper statements!

What
kind of computer equipment and software program is needed to use
E-Statements?
You do not need
any special computer configuration or software package to access your
E-Statements, just a computer with Internet access and an Internet
browser that supports 128-bit encryption. Microsoft Internet Explorer
and Mozilla Firefox provide the
security encryption required for SCU's E-Statement program. You
will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher.

How
many years are statements stored?
Your
statements will be saved online for 5 years from the month you start.

Can I
print out my statements?
Yes, you will be able to print out your
statements. Your statements will be in the same format and will
contain the same information as the statement that you would have
received by mail.

Will I
still receive paper statements?
No - you will receive your statements
electronically. Receiving your statements electronically helps the
environment by savings trees and helps the credit union return more of
its profits to you by reducing printing and postage costs.

Will
I automatically get my credit card statements via E-Statements if I
enroll my account?
Credit
card statements are available by signing up for this service through the
Credit Card link in SCU Online. Similar to E-Statements, electronic
statements for credit cards is a no charge service.
You will have
access to separate electronic statements for your credit union account
and your SCU credit cards.

When,
during the month, will my E-Statement be available online for my
viewing?
Your E-Statement
will be available approximately the first or second day of the month.
Historical statements are available for viewing at any time.

How do
I sign-up?
You will need to 'Create a New Account'.
Go back to the top of this page, scroll over Online Services, then
E-Statements, then click on the Login link. On the right side of the
Login page, click on 'Create a New Account'. Complete the
required fields and Submit. After submission a Consent form will
be sent to your address on our system (This is for your security).
You will need to sign and return this form in order for your account to
be activated.
